Porte should beat them in the TT, TTT a little more complicated.

Sky
CATALDO Dario
EISEL Bernhard
KENNAUGH Peter
NIEVE Mikel
PORTE Richie
SIUTSOU Kanstantsin
STANNARD Ian
WIGGINS Bradley

Movistar
AMADOR Andrey
ANTON Igor
CAPECCHI Eros
CASTROVIEJO Jonathan
DOWSETT Alex
INTXAUSTI Beñat
MALORI Adriano
QUINTANA Nairo

Saxo (what's been confirmed for them)
ROCHE Nicolas
BENNATI Daniele
KREUZIGER Roman
CONTADOR Alberto

All 3 can field very strong teams for the TTT, and the teams named are looking like strong teams for it (of the riders named in Saxo's case), fairly equal I'd say. I think they'll all finish close to each other with Sky coming out first.

I wouldn't consider him behind, he can definitely compete for the win along with them. Would probably say it would go something like Quintana>Porte=Contador, but margin is small between them.

I do think that Tinkoff-Saxo will the be the strongest on the TTT. The questions for me is, if Contador can pull a great ITT out he's sleeve. Cause Kwiatkowski looks very strong. Especially after destroying Sagan in Strade Bianche!

I think we'll have to add Kwiatkowski to the big 3 (now 4) favorites. Good team so far for the TTT. Will OPQS ride for Uran though?

Kwiatkowski is on the best TTT team and he also has the best short ITT of any of the GC contenders. It won't win him a huge chunk of time, as it's only 9.2k, but this race will be close as it is.

Plus he'll be amongst the best on that wall. So yeah, in his current form he probably goes in as the biggest favourite.

I too think that Kwiatkowski is a contender, but If Porte, Quintana, and Contador are real aggressive in the mountains, I think Kwiatkowski will be dropped.

Is Kwiatkowski better than Porte?

Still remains to be seen I'd say, have to see the two go mano-o-mano against each other. Don't think they have yet.

One stage where Kwia dropped Conta, another where Conta dropped Kwia... how is Contador the favourite on that basis?

For some reason i though Kwia had ridden San luis this year so i though he had more race days. Never mind then, you are right. Although he still had 4 more race days than Contador :p

Hmm Nibbles not in either.

Going to stick my neck out and say Quintana.

The evidence is here for all to see last time I thought a Sky rider other than Froome was a 'banker' for a race :D]
