So we will most likely have a false winner, a fact that will be forgotten over time. And some guy will have a TA on his palmares and future generations will scratch their heads and say wow I never thought that guy could win a race like that!

Why? Tirreno was also a good show during the years guys like Freire could win the overall.

How can you compare the two? Those editions were made for puncheurs and puncheurs targeted the GC. This race was not. The puncheur editions were much better imho as well, but that doesnt not change the fact this race results will be falsified.

It is not a comparison, I am just saying it would not be that shocking to see a Tirreno GC win on the palmares of anyone of the remaining contenders for the GC win now.

I am also curious to see which team leaders are still protected although they have no chance in this race anymore. Chaves and Yates could easily work for Ewan today.
Yates is already fetching bottles.

I see, so it seems Orica is already chasing hard. Maybe they want Gaviria to face Sagan twice before the final sprint? :D

Shame we won't see the peloton pass through Spoltore!

Velon and RCS are killing the game and cycling, the photo of the top of San Vicino's climb was manipulated because the road was praticable and they didn't show that, just the field BESIDE the road. Sorry for my poor English.
