Awful course. Was it always going to be this route or did they find out about the Tour clash and just decide not to bother with an epic parcours.

Astana to win with Fuglsang and Vlasov deciding amongst themselves who will get to take home the trident.

What a strange course. The Bincibank Tour with an MTF and prologue (epilogue?) chucked in. Going to be a lot of fun

Yates and Fulsang are my favorites for this race.

Funny thing with Movistar is Soler was supposed to be leading their team at this race, but got moved to the Tour instead. They have fairly young and inexperienced team at this race. They could pull off a surprise stage win, but shouldn't factor into the GC.

I think the technical term for an ITT at the end of the stage race is an ITT. Besides, even if it was at the beginning, it would still be termed an ITT; it's too long to be a prologue.

Sunweb with an almost better squad than the Tour one here..

I fail to see how Fuglsang can't win this, but a few questions:
-How are Thomas and Froome?
-Is Nibali going to do a decent prep race for once?
-Why not Woods ? Still unsure about his form though?
-How can MVDP be a factor here?
-Is Majka going to shadow top5 without taking wind once? (except for the ITT)

Hopefully Ackermann times it better today. He needs to stop going too early. Cost him too many wins already.

Gaviria goes too soon and gets done at the line by Ackermann

Amazing sprint as he threaded his way between 3 riders on the fence.
