Anyone see the Rainbow Worrier try and ride away from the front for about 5 seconds then realise he was going nowhere?

Me too, I doubt Garzelli will get another win as big as this - to think it was 10 years ago when he won the Giro - and dedicated his win to Pantani!Thoughtforfood said:Really happy Scarponi lost the lead today though. Good on Garzelli!

tgsgirl said:Dodgy sprint, imho; Petacchi and Farrar didn't stand a chance. Shame, cause I don't think EBH needs Brown's if-I'm-the-last-one-standing-I-automatically-win tactics.

If that sprint wasn't over the line, it was really close. That was way more lateral motion than was called for. Edvald either needs to learn to ride in a straight line or else should begin choosing to doing so.

That's a non-argument, judging from the discussions about a certain sprint in the Tour of Turkey.ingsve said:It simply doesn't fit with how the guy is.
hektoren said:Nothing dodgy about it. They were more than half a bike-length behind each other. You can say a lot of things about EBH, but his eyes face forward like they do on most of us.

ingsve said:I agree that EBHs sprint was a little rough but far from the worst exmples we've seen that have gone unsanctioned. At any rate I doubt it was deliberate on his part. It simply doesn't fit with how the guy is. We have to remember that he is still fairly new to bunch sprints with the absoluet best sprinters in the world and he's possbly still a little uneasy in the situation.
