Was there any doubt that Gesink is a better climber in GTs than Cuddles?
Don't know what you guys are discussing about.

We'll see. I get more confident when you shout that, because you've been proven wrong on almost every occasion so far when you started shouting.El Pistolero said:But never the less, Nibali is smart to not go to the Tour. He'll win GTs, while Gesink never will if he keeps focusing on the Tour. Let's face it, he's never going to be a match for Andy.
He was colourless in this Tirreno yes, but that's because like Gesink these climbs don't suit him. I actually think he did surprisingly well (except for his time trialing skills that seem to elude him ever since his return).boomcie said:If boring Basso ends on the podium of the TDF this year I will:
1. be surprised
2. be unpleased
3. be disappointed
4. be bored ****less
5. not eat spaghetti or lasagna for two weeks (no, not more)
What a colorless figure. Zoncolan my ***.![]()

Evans winning this + a hilly stage is one thing for instance![]()

Actually no. Samuel lost time on 2 occasions, especially on Xorret de Cati. But he won time on Gesink uphill in the 3rd week and was the strongest climber in that race at that time (3rd week)Ferminal said:Gesink was also a much better climber than SSanchez too.
Dekker_Tifosi said:@pistolero: you tip Gilbert for every stage with a hill in it. Eventually you get 1 right out of 3, he failed in the other 2 stages.
too funny.
Dekker_Tifosi said:I was born exactly 2 months before him (31 march instead of 31 may).
If only I waited 2 months, would I have had the same talent![]()

I'd say that title goes to Mosquera.Dekker_Tifosi said:Actually no. Samuel lost time on 2 occasions, especially on Xorret de Cati. But he won time on Gesink uphill in the 3rd week and was the strongest climber in that race at that time (3rd week)

Shuts them up. Where are those people anyway?

A short flat TT is the ultimately tortute for Gesink, he NEVER performed in those ones. He never did 1 decent flat prologue below 50th place. So...
Moondance said:Indeed... I sure hope this guys shuts up about it:
