Torri makes a good point. The Pro side of the sport has gotten better....while the armature side is out of control.

Awesome quote.

“The situation there is serious. I’ve met entire families who dope. From lawyers to manual labor workers, they do anything just to win a salami in ridiculous races.”

Like that moron Mike Diamond. 63 and doping to rock 5th place out of 9 in a Cat 5 TT.

Whatever Old Man Diamond was taking it didn't help him.....1:33 for a flat 40km TT? Was he riding a big wheel?

maybe someone should explain to you how it was - since you clearly have no idea apart from trying to sound funny and post a moderately entertaining picture.
he was 1 MINUTE AND 33 SECONDS DOWN on the 3rd place getter @59:15.

Ohh, Well Squeeze me.

When ridiculing 63 year old dopers precision and proper punctuation is very important. Of course if you look at his USA Cycling results it is understandable how one could come to that conclusion.

I am sticking with old man doper was riding a big wheel, feel free to report it to the mods

What makes it better is danjo007 calculations are also wrong.

According to floridacycling Diamonds total time was 1:01:33 - so he was 2:18 off third. (and almost 7 minutes off the winner!).

These sub-1-hour times. What distance?

As I remember, USAC (insanely, 10+ years ago) allowed varying distances to be used for the championship events so that promoters could bid with a pre-approved course, instead of having to "find" 40K of road to use.

You do know you're not allowed to use USAC and "insane" (or its cognates) side by side, or even in the same sentance (even parenthetically). It's like a double negative.
