Dunno, maybe you want to try this?

Mythbusters - Polishing a Turd

I saw that, and that is the coolest use of a turd in the history of mankind (unless you count the fake turd in Caddyshack...but that was a fake turd, but awesome none the less, but I digress), and it is still fracking disgusting.

And you need two ****s because balls always work best in pairs. Just ask Lance...

If you keep your fingers crossed, maybe some guy by the name of W@nker will come along and give you a new salute to admire...

I was kind of hoping for a guy with the last name of Dirtysanchez, but I am sick like that.

I'm gonna stop before I get tossed (although "Tosser" would be an awesome winners name too).

"And just check out that victory salute as Jack Tosser crosses the line. While other riders zip their jerseys up as they finish, Jack prefers just the opposite"...

So, you produce one quote form a rider who's probably ****ed at half the world right now, following being run over and practically killed by a car. A quote in which Flecha in the first person, with a single "we all know whathe's like" at the end.

From that, you manage to arrive at "sounds like the boys think V is a punk really".

Amazing.

since you want to make this about you and me shall I ask for you to present evidence to the contrary?

my sample survey, although small and not in proportion to the population, is still larger than yours.

and ps your personal opinion is for shi..... macdaddy

it is all part of the publicity that helps his team attract sponsors and keep Voekler in a job riding a bike, strange as it may seem.

so you are saying is is positioning himself. fronting\. not too different than his tour tactic

on that note are we to assume he is not indeed riding for the win but riding to front a vibe and chauvinistic pride and the euro?

I am down with that and all in the game I say.

word to his mother

Good for Tommy. The mj is a poor excuse for laziness.

Maybe, just maybe TV is thinking 'if I can pinch another minute or two here, then there's just a slim chance that'll add one more day that I can hang onto the yellow'. I prefer to look at it this way and applaud that. Just like I applaud Thor for hanging onto the yellow by the skin of his teeth at the end of a day he would have been excused for having to let it go.
Yeh the man wearing yellow in Paris will be the champ, but until then, it's not a charity item to be handed round...

After today's performance I was left wondering when was the last time we saw the yellow and green jersey together in a breakaway attacking the peleton? I don't know the answer, anybody? Fantastic riding by Voeckler and Gilbert, I hope it's a sign of a different mentality of the the younger generation in the peleton, time will tell.

flecha's summary of voekler sums it up perfectly.

+1

Voeckler sucks. The guy attacks after that terrible wreck? Zero class.

Plus i'm always tired of seeing Voeckler in the break crying and waving his arms like a baby.

chapeau voeckler and rolland!
oh man if kern would have been here,he would take the podium,i fuccin knew it.now it's all on voeckler and french ugrumov pierre rolland.that's what i call a monster ride although rolland didn't breath at all. check the images that's just fuccin insane, never seen something like this.

that was a heck of a ride and the bike change after the crash was amazingly fast. whomever the mechanic was even remembered to give him his water bottle in the course of about 10 seconds. good team work.

was this result Tommy's effort or the tempo of the contenders though?

good ride regardless

Voeckler has always been very good fighter. And the yellow jersey usually gives you extra power. So not completely surprised that he kept the jersey today but with him finishing only 20 seconds off the favourites' group (discarding Fränk, Samu and Jelle who had attacked) that was surprising. I was rather expecting him to lead by < 30 seconds if he was to lead after today.
