Is there some sort of heritage listing or environmental restriction preventing the road from being sealed?KasperAnker said:That muletrack doesn't qualify for anything near a road! It's extremely narrow and the surface consists of cracked cliffs.
I had to get off the bike several times to jump over gaps.

the guy that does this has been very accurate in the past with his route predictions. I think his name is Thomas.jens_attacks said:i would like it but i don't buy it,that's not how the tour works.probably it will be a bunch sprint stage.
awaiting for the official route.
Well there you go. Seems to have similarities with Pena Carbarga.McLovin said:wiki france gives a 5.5 km with 9.5%.
Skip Madness said:This could be the finish to a pretty hard stage if planned properly. A stage through this part of the Vosges finishing at Belles Filles followed by a stage over the bigger Vosges climbs would be very welcome.
jens_attacks said:rumours,rumours and more rumours
the bad one is that there will be just one stage in the alps and that col du grand colombiere will make its first appearance in le tour.and now you ask "why is that a bad rumour?grand colombier is pretty awesome".well it seems that after the top of the climb there will be at least 40 kms until the finish line.
the good rumours is that we'll finally have what we mostly are wishing for:two ITT's.one between Arc et Senans and Besancon.the other one in chartres.
don't forget.there are just rumours,nothing official.

So i wouldn't give them any credibility at all. Let's just wait and see.
