That just looked like the usual pushing to get in a good position, the wheel of Bozic in this case.

Certainly not on the finishing straight. He sat up, stopped sprinting and took a swing at a guy looked like.

I think he was sick of riders sweeping him. That rider (Jong Vlaanderen - Bauknecht?) just happened to be the last guy involved.

Some riders looked real bad. Lowik for instance was squirming on the tarmac minutes after the crash still.

Löwik ruptured his scrotum, so he'll be out for a long while. Cretskens broke his clavicle. Both Lotto riders, and Ljungblad, Hoste and Roelandts (all Lotto as well) went down too.

Can't find maps of years past, but to the Belgians on the forum: Do they ever run a stage across the south of Flanders or more than one stage in Wallonia?

If I remember well, Boonen won a stage in Overijse, over the Muur and the Tenotsberg, I think (which is the climb in Overijse).

Why doesn't this thread get stickied, BTW? There was a sticky thread for every stage of the Tour of California... this race is equal in importance, but not to Cyclingnews, apparently.

Wow. Dumoulin was pretty much drafting Devenyns...

Hope the jury DQs him for that... Or gives him a gigantic time penalty.

BTW: I want to see a Flanders Hills time trial in the Tour of Belgium!
What about Wolvenberg - Mater - Molenberg - Haaghoek - Leberg - Berendries?

Would be epic:cool:

Well, excellent win for Cornu. Skil's great week continues strong.

Was a little disappointed by Gilbert, I thought he'd be able to do better, even with the rain, although that did screw him.... That said Phil will destroy everyone tomorrow. Seriously, the competition will just cease to exist I think.

The rain really, really screwed him. I wouldn't judge him too much on today.

Still a good win by Cornu, don't think the rain made a difference on his final placing.

Yep, Cornu was great. Just Vaitkus and Gilbert would've done better without the rain I believe.

Because Seeldraeyers is such an awesome time trial specialist??
The guy is weights 50kg.

His stage is today, not the other days.

I'm surprised that Seeldrayers hasn't yet shown last year's form.
Andre

He was incorrectly diagnosed with a fairly serious cardiac condition over the winter. He stopped training for about five weeks (as in, no bike at all) until they got a second opinion + confirmation that he was fine. Seelie said that even for weeks after that, he was afraid to really push himself to the max, scared he'd drop dead if his heart-rate got too high. Hopefully he'll find the right shape soon.
