Damn I just realised something. Voeckler is going to be in the yellow on Luz Ardiden, that means instead of seeing the real racing up front the French director is going to constantly show him in the back trying to defend the yellow. Meh.

If the top GC guys keep their powder dry on Luz Ardiden Voeckler could keep yellow on Bastille day :) Actually Voeckler gains so much time that he could still keep the jersey even if the top guys go head to head.

The yapping and whining here is from Contador fanboys. About this incident, about how people are mean to him, about how those two American TV idiots don't give him enough respect, about just about everything. It's tedious.

What possible reason would Karpets have to risk his own race by deliberately throwing Contador into a ditch? Is it that you think he imagines he's in with a chance of winning the overall, if only he can get Alberto out of the way?

I don't know where you are in the world, but here in the states the Versus converage is fairly biased/anti-Contador, which you might not recognize (or if you do it might comport with your views, and that's fine). As for the incident with AC, I don't know why the rider did what he did (and I've been very careful to say it was KArpets, because it isn't clear to me that it is him). What is clear, at least to me and majority of the others here and on twitter, is that the movement was intentional. I try to avoid speculating about things where I don't have a reasonable basis, and this particular rider's rationale for his actions is one of those situations. Which is also why I also minimize my contact with the Clinic.

Nice to see a Frenchie in the yellow jersey. Too bad, though, his jersey is in the shadow of that stupid car thing.
