Who knows? But with a full train and proper lead out, it's reasonable to suspect that some of those 2nd places would have been 1st.
The team has done almost nothing to help Contador; because he has been too weak for them to offer any meaningful support.

Tinkoff backed the wrong horse from the start of the TdF. With the full team in support of Sagan, they may have won three or four stages now and Contador would still probably be top 5 overall.
