I am prepared to give Astana benefit of the doubt here. They have been *** this whole Tour and all this "i am going with Contador"-thing public addressed at Sporza by Nibali was most likely balloney. He doesnt seem to have the form to do a long term assault on Froome and probably only tried to force Contador showing his hand. After this he knows he cant count on Astana/Nibali either until its too late.

The real disappointment here is Movistar who have a stong team through and through but are too afraid to burn their overall to make a serious move.
