Bardet must go nuclear on a descent at some point now. Got a real chance if he's in this form and can find some time or put others in trouble.

Super from Uran again too

Froome probably could have lost minutes if this stage had been raced properly. But no let's wait for the last 500m instead. If froome ends up winning the tour by a few seconds it would be hilarious

Froome is a low gear high cadence climber. That works on most climbs at the tour but not the short punchy ones where you need a bigger gear.

No way. When he's on form he destroys those kind of finishes - like Pena Cabarga, Cumbre de Sol etc...

He's definitely weak this year.

Froome busted , lol , and Landa said **** you and left him for dead .

Aru in yellow !!!!!

Didn't matter what Landa did, finish was so slow there are no gains from drafting.

Team Sky have big problem how to set the pace correct. Radio communication problem?

Wot? they set it perfectly, clearly Froome didnt feel great and no one attacked until the end

So Froome lost about 20 secs in about 250 meters? That's a lot of time in just a punchy finish... It could have been a lot more if someone attacked earlier, but nobody knew how he really was.

Now they know that Froome it's not on his best shpe, so he could get tested this whole weekend.

hahaha just goes to show, you gotta take advantage when you can

That's the first time Froome's ever lost yellow since taking over isn't it?

Yep.

No, he lost to Tony in 2015

Ah, yes, he did. I remember now. Thanks for the correction.
But if I remember correctly he'd only had it for 1 day.

Indeed. Everyone thought he was going for an attack when Sky made high tempo but it appears that the tempo was as high as Froome was comfortable with the entire time.

Well, at least they know now how vulnerable Foome is. Surely they won't waste another opportunity like that?

Such cowardly racing. An in-form Contador would've exposed Froome today. Hopefully the others have learned not to ride the Sky train to the final meters now.

Glad Bardet got the win, though.
And in form Hinault, Merckx, Pantani!

Come on man. We need to stop that at some point and live the moment!

He could have reduced one bike length for Froome to reach the finish, ie one second ;)

But was better for Landa to do his best and try to take away any bonus seconds from Aru
