that was Degenkolb's if he had a clear run at the line
Actually I believe he had. Yes, Matthews deviated slightly, but Degenkolb had a clear line if you look at the helicopter photos. Not enough reason to relegate him

Lol ES commentators saying that what Matthews did today and what Sagan did on stage 4 aren't different. :D
Sagan elbowed Cavendish, Matthews just closed the door, not even comparable.
Matthews wasn't close to putting Degenkolb into the barriers there, I think Degenkolb didn't realise how much space he had. Degenkolb almost got himself caught up behind Matthews early when he could've used the space to his right instead.

Matthews DSQ?
Well, he moved, so he should be.

You are allowed to move in a sprint but you just can't do it violently, I don't think he should be DQ'd but with the race jury at this race who the hell knows what they will do.

I don't think that Matthews should be penalised because he didn't close the gap entirely. Had Degenkolb been clearly faster he could've passed Matthews.

Hondo said that Degenkolb should stop complaining so easily and Leclercq stated that sprints must be ridden out on rollers if this was a disqualification!

Laporte 5th after dragging Bouhanni across a 3 minute group from the Kittel group, while Bouhanni did nothing...
It wasn't Laporte that Bouhanni came over with. Laporte was always in the front

Matthews did nothing wrong, a bit of movement always happens. Martin a big disappointment, maybe he was impeded by the crash.
