If I was the Sky or Movistar DS, I would be very happy to sit back and watch BMC work to defend GVA's yellow. I know they need a new sponsor, but I think they underestimate how committed the team has to be to the singular goal of winning GC.

Nice cycling terrain.
The finish can provide single digit gaps between the riders. With the bonis it can be a solid gain or recovery.
It's certainly going to get nervous towards the end on this roads and profile.

None of the odds makers have any of the GC guys with a good chance here, but with everyone wanting to be at the front and narrow roads, twisting turning uphill finish, why wouldn't it be a drag race with the likes of Froome, Nibali, Landa at the end? None of the them want to lose time to each other so do they mark each other and if one of them goes they all go?

My opinion is that only jammed road can split the team leaders. They should finish in the same group, probably close to the stage winner.

BMC will probably work at the front just enough to keep the jersey.
Then the stage hunters can step up, but nobody can be sure they'll have a clear shot at the stage victory on these roads.
Someone from the breakaway could win today's stage.

As a cyclist, i wish I was out there today riding those roads. Perfect weather and scenery. Am jealous of these guys. Instead stuck inside pretending to "work" and watch the feed...

you too? :D

I would fire myself for my work during classics and TDF.

Being able to ride on the open roads like that without cross-traffic and cars rushing by in both directions generally looks amazing.

Who's the ex rider providing the analysis on UK Eurosport just now? Not sure I've heard him before but he's good...

The voice sounds very like Ben Swift.

I believe it’s Adam Blythe.

Ah yes, just confirmed, Adam Blythe.

Same area of the country. (That's my excuse, any way).

Adam it was and far from an ex rider!!
