There's two riders who can defeat Roglic. Pogacar and Roglic.
Nothing we've seen so far in this Tour suggests anybody else has the strength and the guts to beat Roglic (and Pogacar) by himself.

Dumoulin attacking would be a good strategy if Dumoulin feels very strong and Roglic feels weak. If they do nothing, then it's likely Pogacar will drop Roglic later on. If Dumoulin attacks, he can ride back in contention while JV holds back the other riders from reacting. It would be dangerous for JV if Dumoulin attacks, Pogacar reacts and Roglic can't follow.

Can't see it happening.

I would love to see Dumoulin attacking, but this will not happen...
On paper right now Pogacar has the weakest team from the Top 7 GC contenders.
Uran, Lopez, Landa all have a team which would at least in theory allow tactics with long-term attacks via relais stations. Hopefully we will see something of that in Stage 17 and 18.
On Stage 16 nothing will happen which matters from GC perspective.

What is actually the most accurate Col de la Loze profile?
Red Rick has mentioned it before, but they all look a bit different.
I don't really trust Cyclingcols, some of their profiles aren't accurate at all, even of famous climbs (Giau for example, the Zoncolan only got better when they recently updated it and added the 3rd side).

So this is what will happen: There will be a long range attack by Quintana and Egan. Roglic has flashbacks of Carapaz and decides to follow.
3rd week will come haunting Pogačar.
Problem is that Roglic will also lose the wheel close to the finish in altitude. And the Colombian Alliance takes place.
So Uran ninjas to 2nd in Loze.
Nothing happens in the next day.
In the ITT, Uran beats the cr4p out of Roglic to win his first and last stage race. He can now retire in peace

He's... planning to?
There was a lot of talk after the crash in La Vuelta that left him in the ICU. Rigo's family was asking to do so, and he has also talked about post-racing life, scouting talents and taking care of his business.
I believe he still has 2 more years at the top level.

Rest assured, Bernal is over and out this Tour. He wil not be in contention anymore and an attack winning back minutes is totally out of the question, methinks...

Dumo, regaining his ego and disregarding team orders, to do a Landis on stage 18, taking 4 minutes on 2nd place, then finishes the TDF victory with a crushing performance on the time trial, taking 1:30 on 2nd place (van Aert). :D

Everyone loved Contador for disregarding Armstrong, but people will love Dumoulin even more for disregarding Martin :p

Pogacar said UAE have passed their COVID tests and are all negative.
Gesink said all Jumbo riders are also negative, they're waiting for results for all the staff.
