Yeah, no sprinter will get dropped on 1km at 3%. All it does is complicate the leadoutsWe are talking 3-4% gradients here. It's nearly false flat.
Ewan and Bennett are the two best uphill sprinters in the world. They will properly prefer something harder than this final. It's impossible to drop them on an easy stage like this. What tend to put them in trouble are multiple hills/medium mountains.

I dont think it is hard at all. There seems to be downhill section before uphill. They wont notice it is uphill and will fly throught it.
I think Trentin needs it to be harder, but it’s the best chance he’ll have for a while so he needs to go for it.If not Ewan or Bennett, maybe Trentin. Looks in good nick, finish could suit him.

Why are B&B, Direct Energie and ISN even here if they're not going to make an appearance on this sort of stage?

That climb was so steep the GC riders basically rode their own pace and rode away from everyone
Yeah I moved it.What climb? Are you sure you're talking about the right race?
But anyway, Declercq tried a random solo.
Well yeah but I still don't really know why they're here i.e. what they're trying to do. Probably the least relevant team in the race so far. I think Neilands and Hermans have been in a couple of breaks without much success and that's about it.Well... ISN is a WorldTeam, so they'd be here anyway.
