Have you heard of riders called Thomas and Wiggins?

I mentioned Thomas as a comparison in the original post the year he won E3, and that was very surprising at the time, but I'm tempted to say this season by Van Aert is even more impressive.

Wiggins was good before he went to sky to be fair, 4th TDF, 2009 and always had the engine to pace himself but neither rider is anywhere near Van Aert's level in long classics, both tried monuments and came up short.
