If Caruso rides as well as durning the final ITT of the last Giro it won't be easy...Bala barely keeps his place in the top10. Will have to defend it in the ITT (Caruso is close).
I just think other sports earn to much, the money soccer players and basketball players get is just sickening
Ya those poor hard done by lads at Ineos really deserve somethingYeah it's really good to see Ineos winning a stage and at least somewhat salvaging this Tour. And the teamwork is good see, as well as Carapaz who seems to be going into great form. He would've been a really good challenger for the Giro.
I'm sorry but you're slightly off here. Average county cricket player (level below international) earns 50k a year. If youre an international AND IPL, you get about 3m a year, 4m at most.I'm not comparing it to what you earn working the check out at the local store......... I'm comparing it to other pro sports, and the degree of media exposure/economy they generate.
Cycling salaries are generally laughable compared to other sports.
Kwiatkowski very emotional in the interview. He probably suddenly realizes that deep inside, he is a guy able to win big races, and it's been too long since his last big win!
Will he be the first 40ish GT top-10 in 7 years or were there someone in between?Bala barely keeps his place in the top10. Will have to defend it in the ITT (Caruso is close).
I guess he could be a major player next sundayKwiatkowski very emotional in the interview. He probably suddenly realizes that deep inside, he is a guy able to win big races, and it's been too long since his last big win!
Fastest on the climb iirc? How are the mountain points awarded in the time trial? Final stage results or split times from the last intermediate point to the finish?
should not have extended few weeks ago thenKwiatkowski very emotional in the interview. He probably suddenly realizes that deep inside, he is a guy able to win big races, and it's been too long since his last big win!
Carapaz can take it very easy on the first part and then fly over the second part. How are the mountain points awarded in the time trial? Final stage results or split times from the last intermediate point to the finish?
Movistar.Someone who could explain me why JV ain't leading the Teams classification?

In Rugby, average UK rugby player earns about 120k. Even Owen Farrell, who earns one of the highest wages in rugby, is under 1m.
Even in football, with a commercial revenue way, way higher than cycling, if you play in a midtable side in Italy or Germany or Spain (premiership has insanely inflated wages and prices) you're gettign half a million or so. Formula 1 has huge salaries, that's because there are 20 of them.
Cycling wages are a lot higher compared to other sports than you think. Especially when you consider how many live in tax havens, and how food and expenses for 100 days a year or so are paid for.
