I'm old enough to remember the commentariat for last year's worlds confidently predicting Pedersen wouldn't have a chance against Trentino in a two up sprint.

It seems a stretch to think he could beat Ewan and Bennett in Paris.

Would stand a better chance with a reduced bunch today imho.

Just tuned in, who's driving the peloton, Bora? The break seems pretty weak to me.

Will Movistar controll break for Bala?

So there's only a minute between the peloton and the break except Cavagna another minute ahead of them. If I had to bet I'd say this break is doomed, including the soloist.
