I'm old enough to remember the commentariat for last year's worlds confidently predicting Pedersen wouldn't have a chance against Trentino in a two up sprint.

It seems a stretch to think he could beat Ewan and Bennett in Paris.

Would stand a better chance with a reduced bunch today imho.

Bora already conceded a couple of stages ago... when they decided to go for a stage win from a break... They really don't have a team to help Sagan in sprint finishes to overcome his lack of form this year.
