Hirschi is doing something very interesting: He's using his computer mount as an aerobar. I wonder if the UCI shouldn't take a closer look at that in the near future.

I'm sure riders have been doing it for a while but this is the first time I noticed one using the mount/computer as a brace to lean on and get more aero...
 
Can somebody tell me why the group did not work? After all it was a great one, short of rouleurs, but otherwise people there should have been able to hold off a peloton that was riding carefully and controlled, and also many among them should have considered their chances to win as not too bad?

That second half of Marie Blanque shall determine Hirschi's fate.
If the Yellow jersey group starts racing already from the bottom of the ascent, he'll have a hard time holding the gap.

Bernal, Quintana and Pogacar all have a teammate in the break. The question is if any of them can make the jump.

Same here. You'd imagine that if it gets left alone, there'll be some companies releasing some every-increasingly large-screen head units with handgrips or something as some sort of quasi-spinaci-bar.
