Will the selection begin already on Puymorens or Envalira's gonna be the slope, is what I'm wondering about now.

Just tuned in...WTF are TJV doing? The two riders who need to protect Vingegaard , 10 minutes up the road?? I was okay with WvA not waiting on Ventoux , but do they want a podium in the race? Maybe there is a plan, but it's hard to read, other than WvA for polkadot, but how in the f**k did he lose a sprint for points?

I suppose van Aert didn't go all out.

I've finally understood Jumbo's plan: They will pogacar Pogacar. Keep a rather low profile so that UAE don't see Vingegaard as a real threat that needs to get eliminated, and then crush the final tt.

Jumbo said to Belgium media they're going for the stage with Wout, not GC with Vingegaard.

Fair enough then....but are they reading Vingegaard 's numbers and determining he doesn't have the fitness or something? Otherwise, Vingegaard should look to move to another team, because that's a pretty big FU to him.
I think probably Vingegaard's either gonna have the legs or he isn't, there's not much tactically he needs to do other than stay with UAE and Ineos train really imo.

I guess they are afraid to lose Wout. But this looks a bit stupid. Which numbers could they have from Vingegaard that show them he's not able to do it in the third week?
To give Wout two guys and Vingegaard practically none...
And then Wout just went to get bottles, so what are Kuss and Steven there for? o_O

I don't think anyone on a motorbike can stay with Pog if he wants to drop them...but don't you have to try to protect your guy against the rest? No way Vingegaard out TT's Pog, no way he drops him again (I think Pog chose to look weak, but actually wasn't weak on Ventoux...so my reading is colored by that). Maybe they think he's strong enough to take Uran and Martin alone? I guess EF and Cof haven't show to be overly strong teams themselves, so...

It's not a random top ten contender here but someone who has dropped the yellow jersey. That Kruiswijk is ahead sucks in particular, a guy who has literally never won anything has reinvented himself as a supersonic Thomas de Gendt attacker yesterday and today. Also they are not just abandoning Jonas, also Teunissen who has to work twice as much.
