I think one of the main takeaways from 1995 is that in the 26 intervening years there still hasn't been a proper conversation about what kind of images are acceptable to show/repeat on a sports broadcast, see; Eriksen, Remco.

There has been a debate - Many countries in continental Europe believe if you fail to show images then it's censorship.

After his 2nd place, Konrad said in Austrian TV that he will be more aggressive in the next try. He certainly was. Actually to a point where I thought he went too early.

Consider Gaudu and Colbrelli got to about 20 seconds, they'd probably have caught him if they had kicked earlier on the climb.
