GC rider pulls a Jalabert and sneaks into the break on the way to MendeNow the real question is: how will Jumbo manage to Rabofail this?
I think so. But he was nearly 3 minutes behind Dumoulin in GC, so it was far from done and dusted on Finestre.Wasn't Froome gone after the first attack?
Hot take:
High mountains Pogi is kinda overrated, so far I've never seen him drop the best on that lind of climb.
Situation still looks perfect for Thomas to take his 2nd TdF.
Not doubt about It,So Bardet looking very good
Indicates to me Hindley could keep company with Pog and Vinge
Lot of time analyzing cycling by myself...It was clear and It was what had happened...you cant set the pace with Vingegard at your wherel if you know Vingegard is better in long climbs than you. He just had to follow Vingegard, becouse Roglic didnt count after his crash. And if he takes 3 minutes, you hace Majka to workPerfect tactic from Pogacar. JV has only one upper hand on him - their sheer quantitative strength. Now it will be him vs. Vingegaard.
I think a key reason to isolate Pogacar is to make it a different effort. If the attacks don't start until the final 7km, Pogacar will likely crush most riders. But what if a team can isolate him early, and make it a 60km effort?
Then it's more of an unknown. Following attacks and counter attacks for over an hour is a completely different type of racing, and tactics play a much greater part. It's more like breakaway racing and as we saw yesterday, breakaways are not always won by simply being the strongest rider and riding away from everyone.
I mixed up the 2's and the order. Pogacar 2:22 after Vingegaard.Vingegaard 2 seconds behind Pogacar after today.
Vingegård to unleash hell on Granon

Not a good táctic from Pogacar. Vingegard is going to take time on the last climb. It is good to put Roglic away, but he is not a real treath for him
*polkadotNow that yellow seems like a lock, Jonas can start leading out Wout for the sprints.
Did you hear him in Vingo's interview? But Wout lost 4 seconds to Vigo and the team!!
