Pinot going better up than straight. So the minute it's up again it's better.

I mean, he had COVID and a crash. So not at all a good preperation. But I am also wondering if he will ever be among the best over multiple high mountain stages. So far he rather shines when its punchy.

"punchy"

I agree with you on average, but of course Vlasov could be a future GT podium finisher. He was already 4th in the Giro so what are we talking about here. The crash and covid took of his edge. But also the Tour is still long and he could climb later in the tour in the standings if the crash is the problem atm.

I'm pretty sure Mumbo Jumbo has not allowed Vinegar to face a puff of unnecessary headwind this entire Tour. They are a professional bike team and they know how to take care of their GC leader.

As others have said, the Tour is won in the big hills. We might learn a lot tomorrow.
UAE is just too strong

They are in their backsides

have you seen many Jumbo are still there for all the good it si to them if they dont use it

I am saying "have to be seen", so not saying its not going to happen. But 4th at Giro, yeah, well, different animal than the Tour. Nibali wouldn't be able to top 10 the TdF this year, yet was 4th at the Giro. Alos so far Vlasov's only GT GC result of note (obviously still very young).
