Caleb Ewan had the right idea on Stage 4 to find and follow JtD's wheel. He had to fight for it. He lost by only 1/2 a wheel. If he can repeat that tactic, he'll have a good shot today.

I don't think this has much effect on Vingegaard, otherwise he wouldn't be performing so well. There are always personal differences when it comes to physiology.

It's impossible to know, when the alternative has not been attempted.

Maybe the bigger issue as Danskebjerge says is team morale with one rider having his family while the others don't. But Jumbo appears to make allowances for individuals (Wout's helmet). In the Netflix series, there was certainly tension, but Jumbo appears to manage their guys pretty well.

I don't think this would create tension, when Van Aert himself has leeway to leave the Tour for the birth of his child :)

Pinot could have won the Tour 8 times, if he hadn't spend so much time with his kids.
Or maybe his goats.

I thought it was Jasper Disaster without the "the"?

anyway, nice on him for flipping the nicknames meaning around.
Maybe JDP is better, but absolutely he has made the nickname ironic at this point. I'm really happy for him. He seems like kind of a goof in the Netflix series but he's also a champion.
