Van Aert exposed Majka's false pace setting, surely Vingegaard must be full of confidence now knowing that Pogacar is maybe not on a perfect day.

But WVA dropped almost immediately after that so couldn’t have been that false. Riders dropped when Majka took over.

They got rid of WVA and Kelderman sooner then Jumbo wanted.

Yeah I think it was very worth it. Even if WVA came back for a moment to take some revenge on Majka it basically wiped out Jumbo's controlled train and now Kuss has to lead for basically 4k+ to get to a point where Vingeghoul might really want to attack unless he's feeling even more abnormally good than usual.

Kuss can obviously set a great pace for a long time but the more he works the less he can really crank the pressure up at a point that allows an attack.
