I think the next area for marginal gains will an automatic release for the bikes on the car. Riders has a mechanical and the driver will just release the bike which will roll right over the hood in the hands of the rider. The car grill will open up and we see an aircraft turbine immediately accelerating the rider to 80mph, spectators will lose their hats and maybe some of their body parts. Just a thought, i did not find a rule against these car adaptions.

There‘s no rule against mutilating spectators (and the rider who would also be injured)?
