Soerensen saying he thinks UAE is playing mindgames with the bike changes, making Jumbo think Pogacar will change too - but he will not - because the changes look rather unfocused and uncoordinated.
Sounds too squirrely for a professional team to think these kind of mind games mean anything. Jumbo and Jonas have had their race plan locked in for months. They are going to do what they do.

Agreed, but any little thing helps when the Tour is balancing on a 10 second gap.

He may of course be wrong but I wouldn't put it past UAE, especially looking how weirdly uncoordinated their bike changes look.

Why does a bike change matter? It's bike racing. Ride bike fastest, get smallest time, win. They aren't switching out to motorbikes.

Because a TT bike is far heavier and stiffer so worse on gradients.

How much difference it makes is anybody's guess, but I saw a Danish TT specialist say on Twitter earlier, that he thought you would gain 15 seconds by changing bikes, so if you can perform the bike change faster than that you gain time.

Obviously he is basing this off Veloviewer without having seen the route physically.
