Great to see Pogi be so happy for a stage win.

Vingegaard happy to sprint for the win it’s fair. Not really a climb hard enough for him to drop Pogi under normal circumstances anyway and Pogi looked pretty strong today again.
I do find it interesting that Jonas rides like Pogi had a chance of gaining the 7 mins back. I think mentally when you’ve been living in the zone of 100% focus it’s tough to go out of it and adjust to riding for the stage win even if it can cost you 30 seconds.

This stage had everything a cycling fan could've dreamed about.

Big drama with Rodriguez crash. Big emotions, with Pinot's brave attack up towards the Petit Ballon and the spectators cheering on him. Offense & incomprehension for Gall's tactics not to attack but pull even on Breitfürst!

Action right from the start when Lidl successfully went for Ciccone's polka dot jersey.

Pittoresque scenery of the Vosges! <3
Especially Petit Ballon with the forest and the glade on top of it!

Really happy to see TiboPinot get his moment of glory, such a wonderful sendoff. Nice to see the fans relatively decently behaved today as well; I think the ropes seemed like a pretty good compromise, we got all the atmosphere but way less of the idiocy.

Like many, I often whine about boring stages, riders that should attack and all the other things that shouldn't be mentioned on this part of the forum, and it's easy to forget how badass these people are. Sad to see Lafay abandon [assuming it was a crash?]. Great to see Rodriguez and Kuss [and plenty others] fight after such misfortune.

The way Pogacar celebrated, he obviously wanted to salvage something from the final week. Another badly timed Rodriguez crash. Gall was one of the surprises of the race. Great scenes on the mountain with the Pinot fans. Good to see the cops dragging road runners off the road. Vingegaard paying homage to Andy Rubberneck. Pretty entertaining stage even though Simon Yates moving up one place was the only GC move that mattered. Good to see Adam get a GT podium. KOM battle was more entertaining than usual.

You just have the feeling that Vingegaard didn’t ride to his full potential:
If he can pull off a tt like some days ago, you would expect him to actually race the race, but the next thing you see is him just following wheels and he would even do a track stand if Pog did one, to make absolutely sure he isn’t doing anything than following wheels.

i would have loved to see an aggressive Vingegaard today: it’s the TdF and he raced this last stage as if he was afraid to influence the outcome of the stage, while he could have raced it to show the world what he has in the legs. It’s great to see that in a tt, but better in a race.
