Rog looked closer to Remco than he was as the crash occurred in a slow speed corner.
He looked 2-3 seconds behind. Thus, he got a massive gift by the UCI today

On Peacock, surprisingly.Where did you see footage?
Tadej makes these stages incredibly exciting. He's the igniter of great racing. But I agree. I'm not sure he's helping his overall chances. To be honest I hope he never changes. Even if this means never winning TDF again. But what do I know as couch potato![]()
People calling the gravel stage stage of the decade when it takes literally only 2 stages to eclipse it by a country mile.

Did Fred Wright make the time cut? Not on PCS
It's a Schumacher winning a grand prix in the pit lane moment 😅Rogla crash looks brilliant, now. No way he could have stayed with Remco in the last kilometer. But he must have shrewdly known the special rules for the stage ending.
They do. There's a recent video on YT, maybe from Visma?, that shows how riders eat 8000 calories during a GT, including shoveling in a pile of food right after each stage that's prepared on the team bus.I don't think that is something you would give away for free in an interview. The amount he was eating after the stage is telling, but perhaps all riders do that and we never see it?
whatever happened, if I were him, with this so good Jonas, I would throw the oars in the boat (sorry about the show). Goodbye to attacks from afar, use the team to take a "calm" pace and control the climbs and, perhaps, attack the last 2km by leveraging the sprint and the endurance he has in those situations. It is up to those who follow to make the hard race if they have possibility. About the rest, just follow wheels till the ITT
I can't remember ever seeing someone eating on the podium. That combined with losing that sprint; I think he was empty. It's also not the first time it looks like he gets fueling wrong. The amount he was eating after the stage is telling, but perhaps all riders do that and we never see it?
Jaaaa Jonas!
Totalvikingpower!!
Denmark mentioned. Denmark mentioned 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Love this forum.....everyone is a terrible wheelsucker until you are advocating it for your favourite ...then its wise![]()
Ok Remocs Mom .save it for a United Nations Speech .....Remcoe gets ribbing cos he asked for it with some of his remarks but every rider gets a ribbing at some stage (except maybe Pogacar)So many people today crying about Evenepoel. You WISH you had balls as big as his.
If Remco has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Remco has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Remco has only one fan then that is me. If Remco has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Remco, then I am against the world.
I would guess that the technical nature of the final descent and the narrow road (which was wet in places) was the reason for the application of the rule ... but I agree that this was clearly not a sprint stage.I'd be interested to hear the justification for the 3k rule on a mountain stage.
Food and sleep numero uno...........They do. There's a recent video on YT, maybe from Visma?, that shows how riders eat 8000 calories during a GT, including shoveling in a pile of food right after each stage that's prepared on the team bus.
Single hill MTF will be very telling. Vingo is indeed getting stronger or pogi ran out of fuel. It’s ridiculous to give up 30 seconds on that recovery climbwhatever happened, if I were him, with this so good Jonas, I would throw the oars in the boat (sorry about the show). have you got a persecution complex perchance ..didn't even notice your postI don't think I ever really criticise people for riding on the wheels, if you were using my post as an example to this point.
