Rooting for Roglic but that rule needs to get rewritten, no way he should’ve been s.t as Remco today.

Nice sprint between the two best riders in the race. Damage control by Evenepoel. Roglic fell off again and doesn't seem to be improving. Roglic seems to be riding for 4th place like O'Connor did in the Giro. His podium chances could be finished on the weekend. Odd ride by Pogacar tactically while Vingegaard on a less than ideal prep looks like he could cause problems in the final week Bardet was enjoying himself with his fans. Roglic could really use Hindley at the moment, but he has been surprisingly weak on the final climbs and Bora looks thin in the climbing ranks. Weird fall by WVA, he completely misjudged the corner and luckily didn't bring his leader down.

whatever happened, if I were him, with this so good Jonas, I would throw the oars in the boat (sorry about the show). Goodbye to attacks from afar, use the team to take a "calm" pace and control the climbs and, perhaps, attack the last 2km by leveraging the sprint and the endurance he has in those situations. It is up to those who follow to make the hard race if they have possibility. About the rest, just follow wheels till the ITT

I don't think that is something you would give away for free in an interview. The amount he was eating after the stage is telling, but perhaps all riders do that and we never see it?
They do. There's a recent video on YT, maybe from Visma?, that shows how riders eat 8000 calories during a GT, including shoveling in a pile of food right after each stage that's prepared on the team bus.

Yep, I think that would be the smart thing to do now.

Because Visma don't have the team to make the race tough.

But if it's true that he feels that he's better on long climbs, then I'm not sure they're going to be doing that.

I can't remember ever seeing someone eating on the podium. That combined with losing that sprint; I think he was empty. It's also not the first time it looks like he gets fueling wrong.

So many people today crying about Evenepoel. You WISH you had balls as big as his.

If Remco has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Remco has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Remco has only one fan then that is me. If Remco has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Remco, then I am against the world.
Ok Remocs Mom .save it for a United Nations Speech .....Remcoe gets ribbing cos he asked for it with some of his remarks but every rider gets a ribbing at some stage (except maybe Pogacar)

I'd be interested to hear the justification for the 3k rule on a mountain stage.
I would guess that the technical nature of the final descent and the narrow road (which was wet in places) was the reason for the application of the rule ... but I agree that this was clearly not a sprint stage.

Single hill MTF will be very telling. Vingo is indeed getting stronger or pogi ran out of fuel. It’s ridiculous to give up 30 seconds on that recovery climb
