Incredible how the same exact 40 kilometers as today could give this result 8 years ago:

It's a different sport.

we all suffered through those garbage tours and now we're in cycling heaven

looking at the footage of Rog's crash, I'd argue he wasn't within 1 second of Remco. He deserves his own time
Totally agree, really stupid rule and unjust ruling. I like Rog but he took himself out, no one else to blame. TO me that rule is in place to protect riders from crashes in the peloton or otherwise not of their own making; ridiculous, especially if it turns out to be the deciding factor for a podium.

So many people today crying about Evenepoel. You WISH you had balls as big as his.

If Remco has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Remco has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Remco has only one fan then that is me. If Remco has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Remco, then I am against the world.
Real "Leroy Jenkins!!!" vibe you've got there.

If someone wants to see the Roglic crash and hasn't so far (as me). Think he stretched the concept of "in contact" with Evenepoel there. Gap on the verge of 1s for sure.

I really thought something big was going to happen in this stage. 1 second in the Vingo-Pog duel and 4 seconds in the Remco-Rog bar brawl. Not exactly big. Today, Vingo's balls dropped. A mediocre showing from Poels today suggesting that Froome still won't give him back his balls.

Great stage- lots of action, lots of tactics, and the outcome was what I foresaw, but with Poga outsprinting Jonas :p congrats to Jonas

overall, Jonas looks more than good to fight for the Tour title as every day that passes by, he's getting stronger & stronger. Beware of the "3rd week shock"
Poga? doing what Poga does, BUT it seems he's slowly running out of fuel, so He may need to select carefully his attacks from here on so that he'd have enough reserves for the 3rd week.
Roglic? He looked good initially catching up Jonas on the descend & going with him on the penultimate climb... until he blew up. Seems like the lack of racing is taking a toll on him?
Remco? raced very smart within his limits and fought where & when it matters. He looks promising.
