Why? On the only real mountain so far Pogacar dropped Vinge, and Pla d'Adet is more a Pogacar style climb. Pogacar might want a bigger gap before Bonette.
Vervaeke reported to be ill. I don't think it's covid, since SQS policy has been to take riders out of the race.

Still not sure where this stage is going. It's stable at 4min now. Definitely possible to go for the stage for UAE, but not sure if they want it today.

Henri Desgrange sent someone in the middle of the winer to check the climb out.
The taxi only drove the man a bit into it, then said "you are on your own now". The man made it to the top and almost died, because it was so cold, but was cared for on the other side of the mountain.
Then telegraphed to Paris that is was fine to use it.
At least that is the story that I was just told. I think it might be embellished slightly.

He (Vervaecke) isn´t feeling great the last few days, but so far no one tested positive with SQS.
I personally think Visma's team is not good enough to drop enough guys for a good Vingo attack. Everytime UAE pace they're effectively dropping their own guys and giving Vingo an opportunity to attack. My 2 cents anyway.

Only just started watching. The climbing quality of the break is a little sh*t so I can still easily see UAE pulling this back.
