Random note: Simon Geschke ... best beard in the peloton? Is Geoffrey Soupe retired?
Vingo with the micro beard. Very stylish.Have you not seen Vingegaard up close?
And no, Soupe is not retired.
Why would that matter? It's three weeks from now.

I was referring to Bruno ArmirailThis one was only interested in the prize money at the summit
As a side note on UAE’s stupid tactics, why on earth would you bring bonus seconds into play? Surely UAE should be wanting the breaks to go ahead and mop up bonus seconds on every stage…..this is genuinely baffling. The way they are riding today means Visma don’t actually need to do that much work to go for the stage and collect bonus seconds. It is genuinely baffling.

We'll see when UAE start to race how they're doing. Training ride at the moment.6 guys from Visma there. Not bad for a weak team in the mountains.
I think they'll do an all stage train like to Morzine last year.Guess who will be in the breakaway tomorrow, to wait for a certain teammate and pull in the long valleys between climbs.

Trying winning stages and trying put more minutes at your worst competitor is bad strategy. As a side note on UAE’s stupid tactics, why on earth would you bring bonus seconds into play? Does Healy/Lazkano in this shape really need 5 minutes for a 10 km climb? But yeah looking bad for the breakBreak needs about 5 mins before final climb - this is no where near enough. Not even close
The explanation is easy. Pogacar needs to put more time on Vingegaard. 1 min 15 is not enough.Only explanation to me is that Pogacar feels strong today. It's also not so warm, which should suit him.
Unless they believe that Pog has what generalissimus mou claims he does.As a side note on UAE’s stupid tactics, why on earth would you bring bonus seconds into play?
