I don’t get UAE at all, but all means peg the gap about 7 mins but have they worked it out yet that but is up to Jonas to drop Pogi, not the other way around. Pure hubris from Pogi, bit him the other day, could easily bite him again
I see UAE dropping everyone only for Vingo to take time on Plad Adet.

Yeah but they dropped themselves, they weren't going to contest either way.
This may well be true, idk, but there is this tendency to conclude that wherever Visma ends up, that is exactly where they wanted to go. I am not really sure that is the case, even though I do agree that UAE should not be doing this.

Although I agree they could just sit back and not be on the front at all, it's not like they're actually doing much. Pollitt pacing a huge peloton up the Tourmalet isn't gonna disturb many GC riders. The only reason they're catching the breakaway is that the breakaway is also sandbagging massively.

This is just a very soft pace. Peloton is huge, and they dont catch more than a few seconds of the break were VdP is chilling.
Most amusing scenario would be Pollit staying on the front till the end of the stage because nobody, apart from Ciccone, wants to attack.
