Don't see Vingegaard improving enough in the final week. Pogacar has too much power for him at the moment. Vingegaards's preparation issues are starting to show even though for many he has done better than expected. UAE are going to do the same on every MTF as they should with the team they have. Would be surprised if Vingegaard can reverse this next week and Evenepoel is riding for third place..

Vingo can't respond to any of Pog's first accelerations: that's why the tactic worked.

This was not just about the acceleration. Vinge cannot do long efforts like the last 2 years. Thats what a lung injury does to you.

He is riding for 2nd place now.

As we stated the other day, the only reason Vingo reeled Pogi back after the Peyrol was because of a mistake on UAE's behalf.

2 minutes is quite the gap now.
Very hard (read IMPOSSIBLE) to gain 2 mins without a great team on the mountains on Pogi even if he should have some hard times coming the third week.
