the big hope left for Vingegaard is that the two hardest MTFs are yet to come (Pla d'Adet is a classic HC but nobody's idea of one of the hardest MTFs in the Tour), so at the risk of stating the obvious tomorrow is going to say a ton

It seems clear UAE has the stronger team this year. If that means Pog can compete in the 3rd week remains to be seen.

Think everyone should be fine. Groenewegen/Cav grupetto was 22minutes behind at the foot. Vanhoucke is last in the race (I think he crashed), he was 27min behind.

The stage isn't hard in that respective. It's listed in a hard category but as it was pretty easy until the intermediate sprint, none of the sprinters was in danger to lose time before it.

He got like 2 minutes saving 10 watts that's not a very big difference. More useful using Yates to blow up the group before he even attacked.

The only reason it "worked" is cause Vingegaard couldn't respond to the first acceleration

Vingo can't respond to any of Pog's first accelerations: that's why the tactic worked.

I wonder whats the plan for Mühlberger. He finishes every stage at around 150-160, apart from the two mountain stages so far. Galibier 19th from the GC group, today 18th. Maybe he should try a break rather with those climbing legs because I really don’t know what he gains from decent results like these are, when 1 hour back…

i actually thought that guy threw water before showing the replay, i was thinking that i haven't seen people do the "dumping water on the rider" thing for like years, that's more a pre-00s cycling thing
