Even if Remco loses another 1.5kg, he's not competing with this, and then he's in danger of losing what makes him so exciting in the first place. Jeez
I wouldn't mind if he targets classics and snipes some weaker vueltas for the rest of his career. Maybe the tour can lure him back with some TT heavy courses. But I don't see the point in going all in on being the third best climber.

Question is: is this the best climbing performance in Landa's career?
He's so close to Pantani, therefore Landani!
Possibly. I'm more curious to know if anybody can recall him actually having been of any use to Evenepoel so far. Usually, he rides behind him, he gets dropped before him and never makes an effort to come back in order to pull for a bit, not even downhill -a weakness of Evenepoel- is he able to close a 15s gap in order to pilot Evenepoel. Maybe he's a good conversationalist.

It seems like mountain stages are getting too easy nowadays with these record breaking ascents.

Race design is my passion, so I propose this stage from Sierra Nevada to Sestriere.
It's only about 95 km, so some sort of starting grid could be a nice addition to really shake things up.

Easy side of Mortirolo, not hard enough.

Why even keep the descents? I'd just string all the uphill sections one after the other just to make sure
