I don't think they care. This isn't about dropping people, but tiring them out.Visma won't have anyone left for the valley
If so, Visma is desperated.Vingegaard to try a long range attack?
And De Plus up front. They have done well.Rodríguez thriving in the heat.
Still, Bonnette would be much better suited for a long range all in gamble.2:00 minutes behind.
And Kruijswijk
Landa is there. Sitting right behind UAE.
Lol, the Vismas are riding strong and trying their best. This is a good effort.Vingegaard is at least trying to do something with his so-called TdF team, but precarious how weak the rest of Visma is, - but at least he is giving such a big Tour-stage a shot across the bow.
And its better to use the little his teammates seems to muster, before they gone either way.
Good morning, RC! I'm getting a late start, have some catching up to do...Good morning, chaps!
Happy Bastille Day! Jonas had a bad day yesterday. He pulls to together today and wins on the summit, taking a few seconds from Tadaj.
This is a really small GC group so far out
They are just bringing the best team available. Kuss is not there and thats a real bummer, but apart from that, its a very similar team to those of 22 and 23. They have been very strong in stages where Vingegaard might otherwise have lost time as well.Bringing 5 classics riders for a route this full of big mountains, will probably be why Vingegaard won't win the Tour.
It's stages like today where Visma should be able to drop the hammer and put pressure on Pogacar, but they can't because they simply don't have the team for it.
On the plus side, we will get to see long range desperation attacks from Vingegaard on stage 19 and 20![]()
