What a crazy stage

Not really irrelevant, Visma are cooking something trying to send so many guys in the breakaway today.
What would they be trying? Vinge is never dropping Pogacar on these climbs anyway.

Visma want a stage win. They only have 1 so far.

I don't think Visma cares about polka dot jerseys, second place, or stage wins right now.
It hasn't been that many days since they wheeled in a breakaway so Wout could try to win a sprint.

The Eurosport reporter on the motorcycle asked the Visma DS half an hour ago and he said they are going for a stage win.

They should try to win the stage, but since they didn't allow Laporte to join G1, I don't think that's what they're doing.

UAE are chaotic today, Yates is cooked, Soler has to nurse him. Probably an attack by Vingegaard on the penultimate climb, doesnt matter if he couldn't drop Pogi until now, you still have to try, nothing to lose.

I have no idea who will win this stage.

In a funny moment one of the Bas Tietema riders dressed in Groenenwegen's champion's jersey, and joined the Jayco Alula team at the team presentation in place of Groenewegen.

Well if the breakaway doesn't gain more time this is looking good for another Pogačar stage win.

Visma will probably set this up for a Vingegaard attack on Col du Noyer.
