I' ve read that in the past he had trouble getting good results also because he lacked confidence/mental strength. I wonder, seeing his state after the stage, if this is going to have negative consequences for him more mentally than physically.

I think Pogacar should ride the Vuelta and win 20 GT stages this year. Maybe even win by a record gap to number two.
