That's fake news, because he didn't say Ayuso would be at the Vuelta. He just said they were expecting him to come. Gianetti has already said he will not be in the Vuelta squad.

how's Isola 2000, is that an ugly station?

To me being a vivid tourist skier since early 80ies all ski stations looks ugly during summer time.
It's another case with skiresorts in the valleys with villages, as e.g. Val d'Isere, Trysil, Schladming, etc.
But cannot see an on-purpose built concrete and cable installation as 'beautiful'. Unless they make creative art of it - but even then it's just a disturbing obstacle in beautiful landscapes...

Augustin came from the opposite way round the Cîme (from south, today from north) before he decided to go recreational sightseeing.
But along the south side, right round along the Cîme there's a beautiful drop, too.
But I think they're too busy today for those kind of activities.

At least you can use the aerial lifts during the summer.
I suppose you could also use the surface lifts during the summer, you'd just have to run really fast!

Fun fact; I once fell on one of those "plate lifts" - you know, the one where you put a circular disc between your legs, and get dragged to the top - then I did the reasonable thing and just... held on onto the top!
