i think it is clear that the winner of this race, if he had not crashed, would have been big primoz roglic

Michele Gazzoli didn't even make it through the first stage. If he had found his legendary Tour of Norway legs from last year, it would have been a completely different race.

Tejay is criticizing Tadej for winning the stage and not allowing others (Americans) some glory. I'm sorry. If people don't like him winning, then they have to beat him.

This is sport.
Hear hear.
I actually would have preferred Jorgensen to win today, but people claiming Pogi is somehow obligated to hand others a win are completely delusional imo.

Fact is the team believed in Vinge, they must've seen the numbers in training and asses he can beat the Pog. It turned out to be a complete humiliation.
That's a little harsh, man. I don't think he humiliated Jonas. Ofc they believed in him but there were 2 huge unknowns, one being Pogs shape after the Giro and Jonas' ability to go deep in multiple mountain stages.

That went about as expected. Once the gap got down to two minutes it was over for Jorgenson but a great ride anyway. Another strong ride by Carapaz and Yates. Vingegaard probably realized a few days ago that there was nothing he could do but he's still doing better than many expected pre Tour. Another solid ride by Remco.

Perhaps he wants to make sure he doesn’t destroy himself
Maybe doesnt wanna be Lance-greedy. Like Lance retiring and i can't remember his exact quote but said he was thinking "i could stomp all these chumps!" and then coming back

Visma and UAE trying to figure which one killed cycling.
