If the break makes it, it's Pog and Rog's fault. They crave bonus seconds like a normal man would crave a curvaceous woman. Bardet wants to keep the jersey, so it makes sense for dsm to make it look like they're trying to catch the break. Remco and Vingo are still getting up to race shape, so they're happy with Cav pace. It will be good or it will be bad but it will always be funny.

Break seems doomed. They will lose another minute in the intermediate sprint. So a 4 minute gap with 80 km to go seems very short, specially with a fresh UAE

All depends on what happens after the technical section and thus when teams stop trying to be in front all the time. If no one chases then the gap will go up in no time again.

Aaand there it is, they stopped.

Maybe UAE waiting till Politt is back at the front, but I wouldn't be surprised if they just start chilling again.

Abrahamsen/UNO X gonna lose some respect in the peloton if they do stuff like this. It's quite funny, but it's a bit dumb to surprise sprint for the points too if everyone else lets you have the KOM points.

Made zero difference, the group wasn't split. Despite quite sure the additional participants in the group could care less. Otherwise, they would have sprinted along.

Can't help but notice all of Van Aert's crash troubles started when Jumbo switched from Bianchi to Cervelo. And in Italy too... Very interesting
