Did you see the aerial shot? Cause Cavendish was about 15 meters ahead of Pedersen and him crashing is a completely seperate incident.
No, it wasn’t. Cavendish went over to the other side of the road, and a bunch of riders followed him. Therefore it was suddenly too crowded where Pedersen was, and he had no chance of avoiding the crossing riders.

AG2R, Bahrain, Movistar, Israel obviously won't control. Having sprinterteams doesn't mean they will do any work. They also shouldn't as chances of them winning are really small anyways.

Also Groenewegen probably has a better shot here than Matthews. Groenewegen was pretty good in Limoges last year, that was pretty similar.

Th earlier part of the stage in Limoges was easier than today. Anyway, there will be attacks on the next two or three climbs and it is a matter of who can get away. It seems pointless for Healy to initiate a break from the peleton because he will be chased down because no-one wants three EF riders in the break.
