You know I think this could end up being a lot closer than the commentators are letting on. This guy was exceptional in long early breaks in the classics and knows how to pace himself, he also would've won a very long one in Tirreno if Pidcock didn't inexplicably decide to do some absurd sprint leadout at the end. There isn't much terrain ahead that suits the sprinters over him even with teammates. They just need to underestimate him a bit and for a bit of bad luck in the bunch and he he has a chance.
