What? It's already been confirmed Pogi is not injured. Also, he was asked about it and he answered quite respectfully (much more respectfully than Pogi has ever been to him).
Doesn't it become clear afterwards? For example in 2016, Contador crashed in stage 1 and finished but then lost time on uphill finishes and retired later on stage 9 due to the injuries. Or Roglic 2022 who crashed, somehow finished 3rd on PDBF, then retired after the Granon stage where he lost minutes. Or maybe Pogacar is fine like Roglic in 2019/2021 Vuelta.

EDIT: Worth noting that I don't have any problem with racing after a crash by the way.

Jorgenson basically saying that Pogacar should from now on keep his mouth shut about unsportsmanlike behavior.
Jorgenson may be taking up the role of tough American cowboy, he might be buying into all the hype that he has arrived, he is somebody, his resume says different.. After he wins a grand tour, has worn rainbow, then talk schit..otherwise stop with all the petty back and forth, stick to stealing bottles. Some ginger with porn mustache coming off like tough guy enforcer ..stay in your lane. Went from gentlemen to punk in a few days.

You're kidding, right?

P.S.: I don't think they were morally obliged to wait, but yes, it was the most reasonable thing to do. It really is about circumstances. If there still was a stage win up for grabs, and potential gaps could have been made, I'm quite sure we would have seen a different approach from Vingo and Remco. But now? Stage win gone, flat finish... No point in continuing to push.

It's not so simple. There was very little control in that group and at the point of the crash, attacks were flying off the front constantly. Then they stopped after Pog hit the deck.

I have faith in Pogacar smoking everyone tomorrow. If he was going to win by 1 minute 30 sec yesterday. He'll probably win with a minute 15 at worst tomorrow. That's what i honestly think. Wait and see ofcourse. you never know. But i'd be very surprised if Tadej isn't lightning everyone up tommorow on the final climb.

Though i'm personally hoping Vingegaard keeps pace and Remco is better than expected as well.
I don't want a boring race. I want this tour to remain close. And as a remco fan i want him to do well ofcourse.

Rly? I think it was Almeida or the guy closest to him whose wheel popped. Did you see all those bikes in each other. Also they hit the pavement hard. Meanwhile Pogacar slided. The hit on his arm to stop the slide seemed the hardest.

This is me not downplaying today's crash. It just weird how people are looking at Almeida crash and think this looked similar. The moment that almeida crash happened, everyone knew this was gonna end bad.

You can’t necessarily judge crash by speed. Clearly Pog’s injuries are nowhere near as serious as Almeida’s and you don’t jump up as quickly as he does even if you have adrenalin if there is a serious structural issue (ie a fracture).

It is also fair that almost all crashes which involve road rash will leave that person in a less optimal position than if they had not crashed, that is not rocket science. How much a particular crash impacts varies on severity and individuals etc and it may also change strategy.

Instead of looking to attack he may try and play conservatively tomorrow and just try and follow, but it’s all speculation because as anyone who has ever crashed knows you don’t really know until the following day how you feel.

I’ve crashed banged my hip with relatively limited road rash and felt a lot worse than when i have skidded and taken off a lot of skin even if the latter meant i slept less!

Yup, can't wait to see Remco 1 km behind.

I mean, it's never ideal to crash, but Gianetti said it was nothing serious, and when has Gianetti ever told a lie?

Attacks were flying off the front? After the climb, there was literally 1 'attack' from Narvaez, then the 2nd was Vauqelin, where Pog crashed. That's it. Nothing was happening at all.
