I know we've all rightfully clowned on the original placement of the intermediate sprint, but I would be absolutely fuming if I was part of the town council who paid for it only to see it cancelled last minute for the sake of protecting a few farmers' feelings.

Did you forget Ventoux?
But he got Ventoux record
That record wasn't from the 90s but from 2004. I always thought that the record was a bit iffy because I don't think an ITT really is an advantage in that case. In the 90s Ventoux was only really raced once in 94 and that was raced differently + they had a descent and another 15km flat afterwards.

I hope ‚il Toro di Buja‘ hasn‘t contracted that disease and will be able to keep his green jersey. I suspect the disease wouldn‘t transfer to the Belgian horse.

We don't even need mountain stages anyway today's one was rubbish. Jonas been waiting all tour for the cobble hill of Montmartre and there he will attack pocagar and take time

Who knows, maybe that will be taken out because a mime is murdered there or something. (That would be a real reason to change the route if it happened on the course by the way.)

This feels a bit like the route change of the last mountain stage in 2019. It feels like I should care but I don't anymore.

Can I clown a town council to pay for a Tour intermediate sprint in general instead?

Because of sick cattle on the mountain making the herders there sad or upset? That has to be the dumbest reason to change a sporting event ever…

From what I understand, several of the cows had to be put down. So... I'm guessing they need the road(s) to get rid of the dead cows.

Prediction: Lipo will only spank Onley's ass and podium

Whose ass was he going to spank as well?

At least they didn't have to stop today's stage halfways through because cows were dropping dead on the road.
