Oh well sounds like Robbie is rooted. Sometimes losing some blood can be a boost, gets things going. I used to give blood when I raced, cave man thing. He looks seriously rooted, likely to DNF IMO.

Got the besterd in my velogames, cant swap riders there grr.

Hope he can recover, hate this to be his last tour and not finish.

Quote from liggett, "Blood can re-make itself very quickly".

Liggett thinks it is going to be very hard for lance as he is to far behind.

That is a shock for me!

You would think Cadel has never had a whinge, tantrum, sulk in his career. Truth is, he's a past master.

There must be a natural law that the number of whingers in the northern hemisphere has to exactly match the number in the southern.

Well if you look at the context of the incidents, it is much more merited than Cav. Cav is a nasty piece of work.

Paul Sherwen is such a lying sack. He just said that Jesus Hernandez was brought on to Astana last year by Lance, and then decided to stay to be with Alberto.

Contador and Hernandez have been friends since they were boys. They rode for the same cycling club, rode on Liberty Seguros and LS/Wurth together, and Alberto brought him to Astana.

They'll start reeling the break back pretty soon and we'll have another bunch sprint probably.
How is the final? Is it very technical?
If not, I'm liking Petacchi for this one.

About 4'30" gap, breakaway of 3, and about 80 km to ride still.

So I can either watch the gap to slowly inch back over the next two hours, or I could do something else.

See you later, guys.

Yesterday's stage wasn't so bad since we had Alberto's great watch giveaway to discuss. If I were him, I would've given the leftover 2 Rolexes to guys from Caisse d'Epargne who provided water and support. Then he could have bought 2 fake Rolexes for JB & LA in honor of their genuine teamwork last year. Would've had "There is no 'I' in team" inscribed on the back too.

But that's just me.

Sleepy...

Anyway, just to stick it to Phil anywhere I can, the moron and their coverage always does this: They showed a shot of Armstrong riding next to Kloden, and all Phil said was "nice shot of Armstrong"...and should have added for the American audience "next to some European guy we cannot be bothered to mention because you wouldn't know who he is anyway, HEY, how about that Lance...hun?"

No, I am watching them on versus. Actually, right now, I am watching Sponge Bob because lets face it, I am not missing anything by watching the stage other than some ridiculous commentary from P&P. If you find a stream, I am betting you only last about 10 minutes before you utter an obscenity about their inane banter.

Phil-n-Paul do the commentary for Versus in the US and OLN in Canada. I think maybe they also do it for whatever the Australian station is called. If you can find a stream on Steephill for any of these countries/channels, you too can experience the magic that is Phil-n-Paul.

Its a shame you cant mute the commentary and just listen to the cars, crowd, background noise etc.

Phil and paul talking inane drivel for several hours can be intolerable.

It takes years of practice to be able to come out with inane drivel of this quality.
